 Bamboo Software LTD. is pleased to announce the release of AcuPartner Professional, an enhanced version of what The European Journal of Oriental Medicine has cited as “the Best Acupuncture Reference Software.”

A complete suite for the professional acupuncturist and acupuncture clinic, AcuPartner Professional provides a seamless integration of patient diagnosis, TCM and herbal treatment, and follow-up with clinic management - including health insurance forms, billing, and inventory control.

AcuPartner Professional is a highly-accessible acupuncture knowledge base that guides the therapist with a wealth of graphic maps (of meridians, body areas, and full body), including a comprehensive guide to herbs and herbal formulas, and a tool for compounding new ones.

The therapist can use AcuPartner Professional as the ultimate clinical tool to take a patient history, and the ultimate reference tool to design a course of treatment. Additionally, AcuPartner Professional can utilize the same list of symptoms and suggest a diagnosis and recommend therapy, including herbal formulas, which the therapist can use as a confirmation of the diagnosis or as possible alternatives to treatment.

Flexible and customizable, AcuPartner Professional adapts to the needs of the user, who can add symptoms, syndromes, and diseases to the TCM database, define extra points, change point combinations, and add herbs and formulas to the herbal database. Screen text can be edited or commented. Multimedia files - voice, picture, and video - can be added to illustrate therapeutic technique or to document patient sessions.

The program can be configured for multiple-screen display, and TCM or Herbal databases can be shared with colleagues.

The therapist can choose to work with World Standard Nomenclature or Local Meridian Names.
