Use this utility to synchronize AcuPartner Clinic patient sessions with Outlook.
Download and Installation Instructions
1. Click the link of AcuPartner Clinic - Sessions Synchronizer - Setup.msi. You may need to give your browser permission to allow the download.
2. If a dialog box appears with the option to Run or Save, click Save. We recommend that you save this file to the Desktop.
3. When the download completes double-click the AcuPartner Clinic - Sessions Synchronizer - Setup.msi icon on the Desktop (or in the location you saved the file) and follow the on-screen instructions.
Running the Outlook Sync Utility
1. Run the program by clicking Start>Programs>AcuPartner>AcuPartner Professional>AcuPartner Clinic - Sessions Synchronizer.
2. In the screen choose which option you prefer
• Synchronize from AcuPartner Clinic to Outlook. Choose this option when you first use this utility. Make sure that you have some patient sessions already saved in your AcuPartner Professional database.
• Synchronize from Outlook to AcuPartner Clinic. Choose this option if you have been scheduling your patients in Outlook and want to also schedule them in AcuPartner Professional.
For both of these options you may also select Include Past Events. If this option is not selected the synchronizing process will ignore sessions previous to the present date. Using this option increases the time needed to complete the process.
3. When you have made your choices click OK. When the progress screen says Done you may close the program.
Using the Outlook Sync Utility
To copy appointments in Outlook to the AcuPartner database:
• Create a category called “AcuPartner” in Outlook for appointments. This category is added to Outlook’s list of categories when you first run the Outlook Sync Utility.
• Make sure that the exact user name is the subject of the meeting, or that, in a longer subject title, the user name appears as the last two words of the subject
If you misspell a patient name in Outlook you will be able to choose from a list of patients in your AcuPartner database when you run the Outlook Sync Utility.
